Keystone Dental Group is an oral healthcare company headquartered in Irvine, California, that designs dental implants, biomaterials, and digital treatment-planning software for clinicians worldwide. The company recently adopted a new "KDG" identity under the Keystone Dental Group name, replacing its older, more decorative logo. The rebrand was driven by a desire for a more modern, clean mark with a distinct visual style of its own, anchored by the line "We follow science."
I was brought on to help Keystone Dental Group apply its new identity across print and digital assets, including technical materials like the Prima Plus™ surgical manual, translating the brand guide into dense, regulated content without touching any certified data or diagrams.
I designed a series of patient-education brochures working within the company's existing brand system to keep each title consistent in tone and structure while tailoring layout and typography to its specific content. My role spanned page layout and visual design, structuring the patient-facing copy for clarity and easy scanning, and preparing final print-ready files across the set, so each brochure could go straight from design to print with a cohesive, professional feel across the whole series.
For this DYNA OCS-B® Collagen clinical brochure, my role was to bring order to a mix of clinical photography, product shots, and packaging images pulled from different sources, unifying them into a single consistent visual language. I restructured the copy into a clear storytelling sequence, moving from product overview to clinical application to supporting case studies, so a clinician could follow the logic at a glance. Throughout, I applied Keystone Dental's brand system, from the dot-pattern cover treatment to typography and color, so the piece read as part of their broader brochure family.
